Your free initial email or phone consultation will allow you to briefly explain what has brought you to consider counselling such as, letting me know how you are feeling day to day, or if there is something in particular that you are finding difficult to overcome at the moment. It will also allow me to discuss with you how my online therapeutic service works, and how I may be able to help you.
Once deciding whether you feel counselling is for you or not, it is essential that we discuss your aims, goals and expectations of therapy. Equally, my role as your counsellor is to fully support you in the therapeutic process. Therapy itself can be challenging for some clients, therefore fully engaging in the process is expected of clients too for your personal counselling to have a chance of reaching your personal therapeutic aims and goals.
Once deciding that you do wish to engage in online therapy you can chose whether to book a one off online counselling session, occasional therapy sessions or a block of 6 or more weekly sessions at the discounted rate for your personal needs such as anxiety, depression and stress.
One off sessions are suitable for clients who have never experienced counselling and want a taste of how it works. They are also good for clients who are about to leave counselling but still require occasional therapeutic support instead of weekly support, that counselling usually offers.
Price per session when booking a block of 6 or more sessions. Online sessions are extremely flexible and allows the client to compile an email over the week rather than having to be committed to a set appointment time. Many clients prefer this form of therapy. Phone appointments can be flexible and not set for the same time each week but they do need to be arranged one week in advance of the next session.
Price per session and subject to availability. Face to face therapy is conducted in a counselling room within easy access of Taunton town centre. Face to face therapy needs to be initially booked in a minimum block of 4 weekly sessions, but sessions can be extended on a week by week basis after this, according to a clients individual requirements.
